your day in the life

Stock Control:

In order to merchandise and restock the sales floor, make sure that the stock is appropriately received and unpacked.
To reduce risks (stock loss), monitor and manage stock levels using established procedures (stock counts, stock takes, stock loss response plans, etc.).
oversee the stockroom’s general upkeep to ensure it complies with housekeeping requirements.
Authorize returns, recalls, breakages, and write-offs.

Growth in Sales & Profitability:

To work with management to develop the necessary operational action plans, improve sales performance, and keep an eye on store spending, analyze sales & profitability reports in-store.
Review and monitor product performance in-store to provide feedback to the support center and boost sales.
Find and suggest fresh ideas to boost revenue and brand recognition. This could involve competition research, partnering with or participating in neighborhood events, and generating new accounts or memberships in accordance with targets (if applicable).

Risk Administration

To ensure and enforce overall compliance with policies and procedures, conduct compliance checks using established processes (such as admin checks, store audits, visual audits, COMO (Continuous Monitoring) reports, POS reports, health and safety standards, weekly hanger counts, security, etc.).

Management of customer experience:

To satisfy customer service requirements, make sure that customer experience processes are implemented and kept up to date (via the use of business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, customer experience plans, visual standards, customer feedback, general housekeeping, etc.).

Leadership and growth:

To meet store KPIs and operational plan in accordance with business values, lead and motivate the team inside a shop.
With an emphasis on talent management and succession planning, identify and drive the needs for training, coaching, and development.
Recruit, manage, and evaluate employees in compliance with the policies and practices of the firm.

What kind of experience are we seeking?

Grade: 12 (or an equivalent level on the NQF).
Having worked as a store manager for three years.
Service and sales management.
