As our new Region HSEQ Manufacturing Manager for ENA you will be responsible for leading the operational excellence for our manufacturing operations in the region and securing delivery of the highest quality globally in accordance with FLSmidth’s standards for HSEQA. Your primary goal will be to secure implementation and achievement of FLSmidth’s sustainability ambition, through daily operational activities, compliance to all relevant legislations, and customer requirements, as well as maintaining an engaged and skilled workforce.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and develop on-site HSEQ managers in the region
• Ensure global performance programs are implemented within the region, evaluate yearly performance and propose improvements
• Follow up and provide status on HSEQ investment projects
• Ensure compliance to FLSmidth minimum requirements, as well as international, regional and local legislation and best practices
• Secure streamlined training across region of workforce i.e emergency, onboarding and culture developing programs
• Conduct region audits, safety walks, inspections and maintain region management review of performance within the region
• Perform overall analysis and investigation of hazard risks, incidents, near miss and HSE observations ensuring accurate reporting, mitigation activities are implemented
• Validate data accuracy in systems and ensure timely reporting, contribute to quarterly/annual  reports

What you bring

• Technical/engineering background as HSEQ manager combined with a Diploma in leadership
• Experience from similar position in bigger international companies (Manufacturing industry)
• Min. 5-10 years’ experience as a leader for a regional HSEQ-team
• Insight and understanding for local and international legislation
• Insight in ISOS standards as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
• Good communication skills (spoken, reports, presentations)
• Self-driven, execution orientated and able to build strong relationship across business functions
• Experience in building/developing teams and create followship
