The Minerals Testing & Research Center provides technical expertise throughout all phases of the project lifecycle for equipment and process development, as well as support flowsheet design and optimization to mineral processing concentrators globally. Our world-renowned laboratory is used by a team of metallurgical and chemical engineers, chemists, mineralogists, and technicians to discover solutions for our customers. Your responsibilities
- Perform analyses of the work environments to meet the global standards for Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).
- Identify hazards according to standard procedure. Establish and maintains a system for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
- Support internal audits and training programs.
- Prepare reports on compliance according to HSE policies and standards.
- Reviews contractors, vendors and staff on site to ensure compliance
- Support new and existing Projects in Oracle, and process new customers.
- Support project invoicing.
- Coordinate with other key FLSmidth departments such as Accounting, AP/AR, Group Digital, etc. to facilitate information flow.
What you bring
- Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain good relationships on all levels with global customers (internally and externally).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must be currently authorized to work in the US.
