Your primary objective will be to be part of the external and internal reporting to Group Executive Management and OMX Nordic. You will from the beginning be given a lot of responsibility as you will be responsible for the entities of a designated region where you ensure that the entities are reporting according to FLSmidth guidelines and IFRS.
You will report to Senior Finance Manager within Group Finance and work together with a team of 8 dedicated controllers and specialists. The job will include interaction with many stakeholders as you will continuously interact with group management as well as CFOs and finance departments on a global scale. This means that you should expect approximately 20 – 30 travel days per year to visit our group companies around the world.

Your responsibilities
- Act as sparring partner for the regional CFOs and finance people in our group companies
- Participate in the monthly and quarterly reporting (actual and estimates) to Group Executive Management
- Perform dedicated controlling of the reporting of our group companies to ensure quality in the reporting
- Support and challenge closing processes in our Group Companies and help local finance teams improve processes that mitigate risks and increase quality in reporting
- Analyze data and information to support Group Executive Management in decision making
- Prepare and update Group accounting financial manual and reporting guidelines based on IFRS and internal requirements
What you bring
- You have 2-4 years of experience from an international auditing firm or proven experience in Finance controlling, cost analysis and business performance management
- Master’s degree in Business Economics and Auditing (cand.merc.aud), a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (HDR) or a related subject
- You have a keen understanding of closing processes and appreciate the need for a strong internal control environment based on Group standards to ensure timely and correct reporting
- You have strong communication skills including ability to train colleagues at different levels
- You must be an advanced user of Excel and be familiar with PowerPoint
- It is an advantage if you have a strong IFRS understanding
