A SAPS Learnership is a training programme that prepares you to become a police officer through the Basic Police Development Learning Programme (BPDLP).

After completion: You may be appointed as a Police Constable (depending on performance and availability)
Requirements
To qualify, you generally need:

🇿🇦 South African citizen

🎓 Grade 12 (Matric)

🎂 Age: 18–30 (sometimes up to 35)

🚫 No criminal record
-
💪 Physically & mentally fit
-
🗣️ Able to speak English + another SA language
-
👮 Willing to undergo background checks & training

Stipend / Salary

During training: monthly stipend (around R4,000–R5,000)
