Minimum Requirements:

✔ Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma with relevant subject specialisation
✔ Minimum 5 years Grade 12 teaching experience
✔ Experience as an examiner at district, circuit or provincial level
✔ Knowledge of NSC examination policies and curriculum requirements
✔ Supervisor recommendation/reference
✔ Ability to work weekends and school holidays
Main Duties:
- Set NSC and SC examination papers
- Develop marking guidelines
- Participate in marking standardisation meetings
- Prepare diagnostic reports
- Develop exemplar papers
- Moderate marking processes
2. Internal Moderator (Ref No: 139071/2)
Requirements:
Applicants should have:
- Teaching or subject advisory experience
- Previous experience as an Internal Moderator
- Knowledge of national curriculum and examinations
- Experience moderating question papers
Duties:
- Evaluate examination papers before final approval
- Lead standardisation meetings
- Train chief markers
- Coordinate diagnostic reports
3. SBA Moderator (Ref No: 139071/3)
Requirements:
- Teaching experience in Grade 12 subjects
- Experience in SBA moderation
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel
Duties:
Responsible for:
- Moderating School-Based Assessments (SBA)
- Auditing assessment systems
- Reviewing learner evidence and teacher files
- Developing SBA exemplar tasks

- Chief Marker
- Deputy Chief Marker

Duties:
- Moderate marking at examination centres

Requirements:

Duties:
Monitor the entire examination cycle including:
- Examination preparation
